Q: Do
the databases only come in mail order format? A: Yes, for now. We are in the process of making them downloadable. |

Q: Do
the databases come with a user's guide? A: Yes. Most of the databases that require a user's guide will be included on your CD. It will provide several helpful tips in managing and maintaining your database. |

Q: Will I
be able to backup my database? A: Yes. You can burn your database to a CD or use a flash/jump drive. Use whichever method is convenient for you. |

Q: Will I
be able to upgrade my database from MS Access® 2000 version to a
higher version? A: Yes. That's the beauty of Provider House's database applications where they will grow with you. MS Access® automatically detects that a database is created in a lower version and will ask you if you want to convert it. Please do for you may not be able to use some of your features if you do not. |

Q: When
converting my database, do I have to rename it? A: Yes. You can't have two databases with the same name saved to your computer. If you want the new converted database to have the original name, just change the name to your database after loading it to your computer. |

Q: Can I
change my generic password to my database? A: Yes. But be very careful when doing so. If you forget your password, your database will not be retrievable. Have your database administrator or someone familiar with MS Access® to change your password. |

Q: Are the
products and forms state compliance? A: Depending on your state, Provider House has provided you with the minimal requirements needed for state regulations. |

Q: How do I
get my database out of read-only mode? A: You will need to load it to your computer. See your user's guide for these instructions. Right click on your database name where you have it stored. Click onto properties. Deselect the check mark in the read-only attribute and click apply. |

Q: Which
levels of treatment do the outpatient treatment databases comply
with? A: The Recovery Residence/Shelter Database 2.0 database is compliant for ASAM Level III.I and the Outpatient Intakes/Discharges 2.0 database is compliant with ASAM Level I and ASAM level II.I. All other databases can be used for either ASAM levels. Remember, provider House has provided you with the minimal requirements needed for state regulations based on the state you reside in. |

Q: Can I
perform analysis in my database with the data I have stored in
it? A: Yes. Provider House have created some pre-designed reports for you and you are able to create as many reports and queries needed. |

Q: I am not
computer savvy but is interested in maintaining my client's
records online. What skill level is needed to maintain and
manage my databases? A: Very minimal. Provider House has created the foundation in their jumpstart databases to make it easy for you to point, type, click and print. You may look into some training classes on MS Access® in your area if you are not comfortable in designing. |

Q: Can I
add my business contact information on my childcare forms? A: Yes. There's a section in the upper right corner of the forms for this information. |

Q: Do you
offer training with your databases? A: Yes. For a minimal fee we will teach you such things as how to create forms, queries, reports, labels, adding new fields, adding your logo, changing your password and much more. Check the website to sign up soon for this class. |

Q: Can I
run my database without MS Access®? A: No. You will need MS Access® 2000 or higher software loaded onto your computer.. If you previously purchased MS Office® Professional then you should have MS Access® loaded onto your computer. Click here to check your computer for MS Access®. |

these products tax deductible? A: Yes. You have purchased your database or forms to help enhance your business. |

the database or forms after purchase? A: No. All sales are final and the databases and forms are offered "as is" without warranty of any kind. |
